Andre Gordon Jr., who is being held in custody without bail due to the triple-homicide case, is now facing multiple charges of aggravated assault, disarming law enforcement, disorderly conduct, and harassment. He is set to be arraigned next week.
Gordon already faces 33 charges, including three first-degree homicide charges, for the March deaths of his stepmother, Karen Murphy Gordon, 52; his half-sister, Kera Gordon, 13; and Taylor Daniel, 25, the mother of his two children. He is also charged with the attempted murder of his father, Andre Gordon Sr, and a carjacking, all in Falls Township. Additionally, he is facing charges in New Jersey for a carjacking the morning of the Bucks County murders.
District Attorney officials have indicated they will seek the death penalty for the triple homicides.

According to court papers filed late last week, an officer allegedly observed Gordon, who is housed in the center’s mental health unit, sharpening a spoon and attempting to tamper with his cell lock on May 23.
During a later body pat-down, Gordon resisted officers, prompting an emergency response. He continued to struggle until restrained with leg shackles, alleged Bucks County investigators.
Later that day, Gordon allegedly manipulated his handcuffs to the front of his body, said authorities.

When officers attempted to resecure his handcuffs, he attacked them, said prison investigators.
The confrontation ended without injuries to the officers after multiple uses of pepper spray, said authorities.
On May 29, during a routine search of cells for maximum custody inmates, Gordon told an officer to “leave him alone” and refused to be handcuffed, said authorities.

A subsequent attempt to remove Gordon from his cell led to a physical altercation in which Gordon knocked off a gas mask from an officer and injured two others. One officer sustained a fractured finger, and another suffered a bite wound, said authorities.
