Travel restrictions will be in place on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through May 1.
The lane closures will impact Old Lincoln Highway between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way.
The closures are necessary for the replacement of stormwater facilities, part of a larger effort by PennDOT to update stormwater infrastructure in the region, according to a statement.

PennDOT advised drivers to plan for additional travel time when passing through or near the work zones, because backups and delays are expected.
The work is dependent on weather conditions.

The Middletown Township project is one of over 90 similar initiatives underway in the five-county Philadelphia region.
Highway Materials Inc., based in Montgomery County, is serving as the general contractor for the project, which is funded entirely with state money.
