
After several days of rain, the area will see some sunshine in the coming days.

Between Tuesday and Thursday, Lower Bucks County reported more than 3 inches of rain, which caused stream and low-lying area flooding.
The storm brought strong winds that were close to 50 mph at times and brought down limbs, including along Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Middletown Township’s Levittown section.
The Mill Street Parking Lot in Bristol Borough flooded Wednesday and Thursday as the Delaware River crested at a flood stage.

The river is expected to spill its banks against early Friday morning and midday Friday, according to the National Weather Service’s river forecast.
On Wednesday and Thursday, borough officials issued warnings that the parking lot was flooding.

The Neshaminy Creek in Middletown Township lefts its banks from Wednesday afternoon until early Thursday morning, but no more flooding is expected.
The area received some of the first rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightening on Wednesday afternoon.
