A deadly fire early Saturday morning at Orchard View Apartments in Morrisville Borough was under investigation.

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office confirmed one person died.
Firefighters from the Morrisville Fire Company and around Lower Bucks County were called to the apartment complex located off Plaza Boulevard just before 6 a.m.
According to the Morrisville Fire Company, responding crews found a well-advanced blaze tearing through a two-story building. Flames were shooting through the roof.

Firefighters worked for approximately four hours at the scene.
The American Red Cross was at the scene to assist residents who were displaced by the blaze.
