
The young man discovered deceased in his crashed car Wednesday morning in Middletown Township has been identified.

Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi said the victim was 21-year-old Alexander Cruz, of Middletown Township.
The crash remained under investigation as of Friday.
Around 7 a.m. on Wednesday, police responding to an unrelated incident of a truck hitting the bridge on South Flowers Mill Road near a Public Storage facility found a Nissan Altima in the nearby creek on the west side of the road, police said.

Officers went down to the car and Cruz was found deceased inside, police said.
A preliminary investigation found that the Nissan Altima had been traveling southbound on South Flowers Mill Road when it veered off the roadway at an undetermined earlier time. The car struck a large stone near the storage facility, which resulted in the vehicle being propelled into the creek below, police said.

Cruz’s family had been looking for him since Monday night when he headed to his girlfriend’s house. A Facebook post said he never showed up at his girlfriend’s house.
