SEPTA Train Strikes Abandoned Car In Lower Bucks County

A West Trenton Line Regional Rail train was involved in a collision with an abandoned car, authorities said.

The incident occurred around 12:45 a.m. Saturday just south of Neshaminy Falls station in Bensalem Township.

According to a SEPTA spokesperson, the car was found abandoned on the railway tracks, leading to the collision.

No injuries were reported either from the train’s passengers or crew.

Passengers aboard the train were transferred to another train and then a bus, SEPTA officials said.
