A 35-year-old Falls Township man was arrested with the aid of a tactical team Thursday night.

The Bucks County South Emergency Response Team assisted Falls Township officers with serving an arrest warrant on a man at a home on Lowell Drive in Pennwood Crossing, police confirmed.
Jason M. Meyer was taken into custody on charges terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, simple assault, and reckless endangerment. He was preliminarily arraigned before on-call District Judge Maggie Snow and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
Falls Township police began an investigation Thursday evening when a 16-year-old girl reported that Meyer, the uncle of her former 17-year-old boyfriend, pointed a gun at her Wednesday inside a residence on Lowell Drive, according to court papers.

Meyer was allegedly with the girl and boy when he pulled a handgun from a closet. He also retrieved a magazine, loaded it into the gun, and cocked the firearm, police said.
“[The girl] stated that defendant Meyer then pointed the firearm at her head by pressing the barrel against her forehead. Defendant Meyer then moved the gun to [the girl’s] left collarbone and pushed the barrel into her skin through the clothes. The total amount of time defendant Meyer was pointing the firearm at [the girl’s] head was roughly two seconds, followed by several seconds at her body,” police wrote in court papers.

Meyer allegedly told the girl: “Fuck around and find out, little girl.”
The girl reportedly told investigators she did not interpret Meyer’s actions as a joke and feared for her life.
In court papers, police wrote that two residents in the Lowell Drive home had 32 registered firearms in their names. However, court papers did not state if any guns were recovered as part of the investigation.

The morning after the alleged incident, the girl’s ex-boyfriend reportedly texted her: “You was shaking when jay put his gun to ya head.”
