A discount grocery store in Falls Township’s Levittown will be closing.

Signs outside of Pete’s Bargain Outlet in the Thronridge Shopping Center along New Falls Road noted the store was closing and merchandise was on sale.
An attempt to contact store management on Friday was not successful.
A LevittownNow.com reader said the business still was open as recently.

Pete’s Bargain Outlet mainly sold discounted grocery items, but it listed previously that other household items and furniture could be purchased through the store.
The business replaced the closed Swann’s Pantry, a discount grocery store, in 2020.

In 2022, Pete’s Bargain Outlet downsized in the Thronridge Shopping Center and Extreme Fitness opened in part of the former grocery space.
