The Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood Boil and Bar in Middletown Township unexpectedly closed recently.

The closure of the franchise location at the corner of East Lincoln Highway and Veterans Highway (Route 413) was confirmed by a former customer and a past employee.
LevittownNow.com spoke to a current employee at another Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood Boil and Bar location who said it was their understanding the Middletown Township location was not open, but they were unable to confirm why or if the closure is permanent.
Efforts to reach the franchisee for comment were unsuccessful. Phone calls to the business went unanswered and no one answered the door restaurant’s location.

According to the former employee, who left the establishment months prior, the restaurant was open leading up to the Christmas holiday before it closed.

The former employee said they did not have confirmed information on the reason for the closure.

A Friday afternoon visit revealed that the restaurant and bar were locked and a menu featuring drink specials was still visible inside the building.
Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood Boil and Bar’s corporate website listed the Middletown Township location as open as of earlier this week. However, as of Friday, the location has been removed from the website.
The restaurant and bar, which is part of a national chain with several locations in the Philadelphia region, opened its doors in 2021.

The seafood eatery and bar replaced the Great American Diner and Pub that closed in 2019.
Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood Boil and Bar did an extensive renovations of the interior and introduced a modern design before the opened.

The location boasted a seating capacity of over 250 customers in its dining room and bar.
The location in East Norriton Township in Montgomery County closed in November due to more than $100,000 in back rent being owed, according to More Than The Curve, a local publication.
