Four Vehicles Damaged In Two-Vehicle Crash

A crash on Friday afternoon tied up traffic and led to four vehicles being damaged.

Around 1:30 p.m., a Jeep and a Toyota sedan collided on West Maple Avenue between the intersection with Bellevue Avenue and Langhorne Borough Hall.

The impact caused the rear of the Toyota to be lifted into the air, and the Toyota struck two parked cars.

Langhorne Borough Chief of Police John Godzieba said there were no injures reported, but the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad responded to check on the drivers.

The crash caused traffic to quickly stack up on Maple Avenue in Langhorne Borough and into Middletown Township.

Glass was strewn on the roadway and tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles.

Police from Penndel Borough and Middletown Township assisted at the scene and closed West Maple Avenue between Bellevue Avenue and Pine Street (Route 413).

The crash was cleared by 2:30 p.m.
