The Neshaminy High School Select Choir has become the first high school finalist in the 2023 B101 Christmas Choir Competition.

The choir is vying for a $5,000 prize for its music program and a chance to perform ahead of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” concert at the Wells Fargo Center on Dec. 17.
Advancing to the finals, the Select Choir will perform “Carol of the Bells / Wayfaring Stranger” on Thursday morning.
Voting opens on the B101 website from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday.

B101 will broadcast the choir’s performance and play the track several times on-air.
The contest winner will be announced on Friday.

Neshaminy faced competition from Lansdale Catholic High School and Cherry Hill East High School in the contest.
