Zafar and Arshad Inc., the developer, has pulled its application for a 16-unit, three-building townhouse development on the site of a former dance studio.
The developer was scheduled to present before the Middletown Township Zoning Hearing Board on Wednesday evening, but they pulled the application hours before the meeting.
Proposed plans involve razing the existing building to construct townhouses with stacked units on Frosty Hollow Road, near its intersection with Veterans Highway (Route 413). The project site encompasses two tax parcels, totaling just under 0.9 acres, township documents show.

Other variances involve building setbacks, a front yard fence placement, and approval for new residential development beside existing nonresidential areas.
County tax records indicate that Zafar and Arshad Inc. purchased the property in 2021 for $469,000.
