
A car slammed into the branch of a bank in the Levittown Town Center in Tullytown Borough on Friday morning.

The crash happened around 10:45 a.m. at the Wells Fargo off Levittown Parkway. A sedan slammed through the front of the bank and ended up about halfway in the building.
Tullytown Borough Fire Marshal David Pearl said the driver of the car suffered a non-life-threatening injury due to the crash, and no injuries to staff or customers in the bank were reported.

Police were on the scene to investigate the cause of the crash.

Local resident SharonLynn Burke was near the scene when she saw the sedan in a front parking spot at the neighboring Taco Bell before it drove into the front of the bank.
According to witnesses, police, the Tullytown Fire Company, Levittown Fire Company No. 1, and the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad were on the scene.
