The stoppages, which could last up to 15 minutes, will take place on West Lincoln Highway on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The stoppages will take place due to crews setting beams for the new Route 1 bridge above, according to PennDOT.
Officials from the state transportation department advised drivers to give extra time when traveling through the area.

The work is weather dependent.

A planned third phase would begin at the Penndel Interchange and continue just past the Pine Street (Route 413) overpass in Middletown Township.
