Attempted Bank Robbery Under Investigation

An attempted bank robbery remains under investigation as of Monday night, according to Bristol Township police.

Around 1:30 p.m., police were called to the Wells Fargo Bank at 4356 New Falls Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section for a reported robbery attempt, police said.

An employee at the bank told investigators the suspect held a note to the glass demanding money, police said.

The suspect made off without getting any cash, law enforcement officials said.

The suspect was described by police as a thin white male aged between 25 and 30 years old. He had bleach blonde hair and was wearing a white shirt.

Bristol Township police have released a surveillance image of the suspect.

“We are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect,” Detective Lt. C.J. Winik said.
