
UPDATE: Man Remains Missing In River After Attempted Boat Theft
Emergency crews on land, in boats, and in the air were searching the Delaware River in Bristol Borough and Bristol Township for a man who went missing in the water.
Authorities were on the scene, but details were scarce as of Tuesday at 11 p.m. Borough and township police had yet to comment on the situation.

Law enforcement sources said a man who may have been a suspect in a theft or an attempted theft jumped in the water not far from the I-95/Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge around 9 p.m.
Officers on the ground were unable to immediately locate the man and an intense search was kicked off.
Boats from the Pennsylvania State Police, New Jersey State Police, and U.S. Coast Guard were brought into search the river in Bristol Borough and Bristol Township, the source said.

A MH-65 Dolphin search and rescue helicopter from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City searched the river between Tullytown Borough and Mill Street in Bristol Borough for about an hour.
A resident along Radcliffe Street said the helicopter left the area around 11 p.m.

A large cargo ship passed through the search zone shortly before 11 p.m.
