
The Neshaminy School Board doesn’t plan to increase taxes for the 2023-2024 fiscal year.

The board voted 7-0 last month to accept a preliminary $203,063,854 spending plan.
The millage rate will remain steady at 171.23 mills for the upcoming fiscal year starting on July 1.
The district expects to pull in $198,780,467 in combined revenues. This leads to a $4.3 million deficit that can be pulled from the fund balance.

The district is faced with increasing employee costs, but Board President Tina Hollenbach said the district is working hard to manage costs.
“There is only so much revenue to go around, so we do have to be creative in what we’re looking to do and in managing the budget,” she said.

The Neshaminy School Board voted to raise taxes by an average of $62.19 per household in 2022.
The school board will vote on the budget at the June 27 meeting.
