A sinkhole led to the emergency closure of a road in Bristol Township’s Croydon section.

The “major sinkhole” led to the the township closing Cedar Avenue between Sycamore and Pennsylvania avenues.
The township said in a Facebook post that PennDOT will be out on Monday to plan emergency repairs to the roadway.
Township fire police and public works crews were out at the sinkhole Friday evening after it was reported.
