Bristol Twp. Woman Accused Of Making More Than 1,000 Calls To Dispatchers Around Country

A Bristol Township woman is accused of making more than 1,000 calls to emergency dispatchers locally and around the nation.

Erica Lynn Saresky, 27, of Bristol Township’s Levittown section, was charged this week via summons with communications with 9-1-1, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

According to Bristol Township police, Saresky repeatedly called the Bucks County Emergency Communications Center between November 30 and January 27. Her calls were said to be “non-legitimate” and “harassing.”

A 9-1-1 supervisor told Bristol Township police Detective Alexander Asmann that the calls had “reached a critical limit.” Emergency dispatchers were aware of Saresky from her many phone calls to the 9-1-1 center.

According to court papers, there were 857 calls from Saresky over the course of 11 days.

The detective wrote the many phone calls “poses a greater risk that the emergency services system would not be able to connect with legitimate calls for service.”

A search warrant was executed at Saresky’s residence on Farmbrook Drive and her iPhone was searched. She appeared to be using a phone app to make many of the calls, police said.

The detective wrote he discovered an “extensive call log” that showed calls to county dispatchers, with 74 phone calls alone on New Year’s Eve.

In late January, a detective from the police department in La Vergne, Tennessee called Bristol Township police as part of an investigation into phone calls to that agency.

The Tennessee detective relayed that his agency began receiving phone calls from the number tied to Saresky in mid-January after the police department made national headlines.

He said the number tied to Saresky called the department 189 times over two days. There were reported “lewd comments” made during the calls, police said.

The La Vergne Police Department has been rocked by a sex scandal and claims of a hostile work environment after an internal investigation made national headlines. The story lead to a wild internet gossip and memes for the weeks that followed.

Bristol Township police said they uncovered the number connected to Saresky also dialed Jacksonville, Arkansas police 328 times and Summit County, Utah’s police dispatcher center more than 300 times.

Saresky was sentenced to probation in recent years by the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas on an access device, communications with 9-1-1, resisting arrest, public drunkenness, and theft from a motor vehicle cases. She was also ordered get drug and alcohol treatment.
