PennDOT has announced its plan to install safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes on Route 13 in Falls Township, as part of a larger project across the five-county Philadelphia region.

The improvements will include ramp line striping, which is expected to cause travel restrictions in the area.
According to PennDOT, the ramp line striping project will require periodic lane closures on Route 13 in both directions between Mill Creek Road and Penn Valley Road from Monday through Friday, May 12. The lane closures will occur between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drives are advised by PennDOT to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
