Last week, Bristol Township Council approved conditional use for property owner Faunce Sy LLC, of Bristol Township, to convert the vacant building at 2000 Bath Road, which sits at the intersection on Bath Road, Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, and Lakeland Avenue, into three apartments.
The building has long had a business on the first floor and an apartment on the second.
Attorney Mike Meginniss, who is representing the property owner, said the corner building has been struck by vehicles at least three times in recent years.

In discussions with township officials, the property owner has stated they are willing to install a guide rail along the property facing the roadway, Meginniss said.
The property owner plans to have an Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant apartment with easy access, Meginniss explained.

A detached garage of the site is expected to be used by either the tenants or the property owner for storage. It will not be leased to a business.
Meginniss said he believes the plan is a good fit for the site and for the township.
The home and business was first construction in 1927 and has had three additions over the years, according to court property records.

The house and quarter-acre lot was purchased by Faynce Sy LLC from Pauline Napoli in August 2022 for $170,000, per tax records.
