Penn Valley Elementary School students and staff came together over the past few weeks to collect cereal boxes to be donated to local food banks.

The initiative resulted in the collection of almost 500 boxes of cereal that will be donated, but first, students lined up the boxes and let them fall like dominos last week at the Falls Township elementary school.
The event was deemed a success by the school administration as students and staff enjoyed participating in the charitable activity.
The sight of the domino effect of each box falling into place for a good cause was a satisfying experience for all involved, according to a video showing the cheering students.
