Around 3:55 a.m. on November 24, 2022,ย Bristol Township police were called to an apartment in the 6900 block of Bristol-Emilie Road in response to a report of a woman who was not breathing. Officers arrived and discovered 23-year-old Olivia Seaberg on the floor of the apartment, which sits above a shopping center.

Seaberg was subsequently pronounced dead on that Thanksgiving, and the coroner later confirmed she died of fentanyl toxicity.

Police discovered a blue pill while conducting their investigation in addition to an empty prescription pill bottle they had recovered from Seaberg’s bedside. Along with Seaberg’s cellphone, the police also recovered marijuana and marijuana-related accessories from the scene, authorities said.

After Seaberg finished her shift at a Bristol Township restaurant and bar at 11 p.m. on November 23, 2022, a witness reported seeing the young woman enter her apartment.

Investigators searching Seaberg’s cellphoneย found a Facebook Messenger discussion sheย madeย that was ย consistent withย buying marijuana and what she thought were oxycodone prescription tablets on two dates before she died, police said.

Shakur Ali Brisbon, 24, was the individual with whom Seaberg was corresponding on Facebook Messenger, according to police.

The investigation involved analyzing footage ofย the drug transactions captured on security cameras and also looking atย additional Facebook Messenger conversations. In those conversations,ย Seaberg asked Brisbon if the tablet she bought was counterfeit and wasย comprised ofย fentanyl, police said.

The blue pill recovered from Seabergโ€™s apartment was tested and a lab report confirmed it contained fentanyl and other substances, police said.

Brisbon, who previously resided in Bristol Borough, has had past run-ins with police in Lower Bucks County, according to court records.
