Skilled gaming machines have been the target of thefts over the past year, including an incident in Bristol Borough.
Earlier this year, the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office arrested two people for thefts from 25 Pennsylvania skilled gaming machines in gas stations and 7-Elevens in the Philadelphia area, including in Bucks County. The investigation led to special agents finding cash and five firearms.
The gaming machines, which are similar to gambling machines and can be found in gas stations and convenience stores all over the state, provide players the chance to win cash rewards while they play. Each machine has a cash box within, and some places have additional redemption devices that give cash prizes to winners.
