Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Township is set to receive $1.2 million to expand the intensive care unit (ICU.)
According to information from GOP Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick’s office, the hospital presently has ICU capacity for 10 patients. The funding will aid the hospital in increasing that to 22 beds.
The expansion is reportedly required due to a growing need in the area the hospital serves.
