

On May 19th, we have the chance to elect 13 representatives from Bucks County to the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee. The Bucks County Democratic Committee has endorsed a slate of 13 candidates.
State Committee members are our representatives in the PA Democratic Party. Their main responsibilities are electing party leadership, endorsing candidates, and organizing campaigns. These arenโt legislative positions, but they play an important role in helping Democrats get elected throughout the Commonwealth.
Who are the Bucks County Democratic Committeeโs Endorsed Candidates?
Bucks County can elect 13 members: 6 men, 6 women, and the highest vote-getter of either gender. Our recommended slate has 7 women and 6 men. These candidates are local leaders, volunteers, and advocates.

Steve Wojciechowski is a current State Committee member and Warminster Township committeeperson. Heโs held elected and appointed positions in Warminster Township and is active on the Bylaws committee.
Paul Roden is a current State Committee member and committeeperson in Lower Makefield. He is the former Chair of the Lower Makefield-Yardley Democrats and a member of the PA Dems Progressive Caucus.
Nastasha Raisley is the current Chair of the Bucks County Young Democrats and a Falls Township committeeperson whoโs been active in developing youth voter engagement across the county.
Ijaz Chaudry is a current State Committee member, local business owner, and member of the New Americans Caucus who focuses his work on representing underrepresented people within the Democratic Party.
Dr. Umar Farooq is a current State Committee member who serves as Chair of the New Americans Caucus. He is a physician and community leader who has supported many campaigns in Bucks County.
Eleanor Breslin is the Chair of the Tinicum Township Board of Supervisors and Municipal Chair of the Tinicum Bridgeton Democrats. She has spent years supporting campaigns in Bucks County and is volunteering with voter outreach organizations in 2026.
Emily Smith is an active member of the Pennridge Democrats. Her work in 2023 and 2025 helped take the Pennridge School Board from Moms for Liberty control and flip it to an 8-1 Democratic board.
Marlene Katz is a former State Committee member, Ordained Interfaith Minister, and community advocate. She served on Boards of the Peace Center, New Pennsylvania Project, and Moms Demand Action lead.
Leann Hart is a member of the Bensalem School Board, a Bensalem committeeperson,Vice Chair of the Bensalem Democrats, and the 1st Deputy Prothonotary of Bucks County.
John B. Lewis currently serves as Vice Chair of the Lower Makefield Township Board of Supervisors; in 2015, he was the first Democrat elected as a Lower Makefield Supervisor in 8 years.
Jess Malobisky most recently worked on Sheriff Danny Ceislerโs campaign as his Deputy Campaign Manager, and she now works as his Chief of Staff. Jess has also volunteered with organizations in Bucks County that serve immigrant communities.
Connor OโHanlon is a current State Committee member and the former Chair of the Doylestown Democrats. He now serves on Doylestown Borough Council and the Board of NAMI Bucks County.
Liz Warren has worked to elect Democrats for over 20 years as a volunteer, committeeperson, and Newtown Democrats Board member who was integral to flipping Newtown and Council Rock School Board from red to blue. Liz is a retired registered nurse and a Board member of A Womanโs Place.
