Possession Of A Controlled Substance

At around 2:30 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a man lying on the ground outside of a residence. Upon checking the status of the man, it was found that the subject, a 39-year-old man, was wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. During his arrest, it was discovered that he was in possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. The 39-year-old man was arrested on the warrant and will be issued a summons to appear in court on the possession charge.

November 4

DUI

A resident called the police station to report that a vehicle had crashed on the lawn in front of his house. Upon arrival by officers, they found the driver standing outside the vehicle on the passenger side, reaching in the vehicle. Officers confirmed that the driver, a 46-year-old woman, was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. While speaking toย the 46-year-old woman, officers observedย indications thatย the woman was under the influence of alcohol or drugs to a point that she was unable to operate a vehicle safety.ย The woman subsequently refused a blood draw at St. Mary Medical Center. Due to her appearance and failure in her field sobriety testing, she was arrested for suspected DUI.ย

Arrest

An officer was dispatched to a business on Lincoln Highway for the report of a woman wanting to be transported to the local Bucks County Code Blue shelter. As officers confirmed her identity, it was found that the 66-year-old woman was wanted by multiple jurisdictions. The warrants were confirmed, and the woman was handed over to officers from the Warminster Township Police Department.
