
No injuries were reported, but a home was damaged by a blaze early Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to the 40 block of Kirby Drive in Falls Township’s Morrisville section at 12:09 a.m. They found fire coming from the attic gable vents.
Firefighters made entry to the residence and put out the fire, according to Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito.
Falls Township Fire Company Chief Andy Hilbert said the blaze was placed under control in about 20 minutes.

The flames were contained to the attic of the residence, but the rest of the home suffered smoke and water damage, Dippolito said.
The residents were home and able to escape.

Dippolito said his office is investigating the cause of the fire.
The Falls Township, Fairless Hills, Levittown No. 1, Yardley-Makefield, and William Penn fire companies responded.
