Wallet Stolen From Café, Used At Nearby Big Box Stores, Cops Say

Middletown Township police are on the trail of two alleged thieves.

Police said a duo recently stole a wallet from the Panera Bread café in the Langhorne Square Shopping Center and left for nearby big box retailers to go on a spending spree.

“This pair stole a wallet and immediately went to Best Buy, Home Depot, and Dick’s Sporting Goods and made some purchases,” police said.

The duo – a man and woman – may have been driving a gray Ford Fusion with a New Jersey tag on the rear. The windows were heavily tinted and no plate was on the front on the sedan, police said.

The man was reported by police to be wearing a black hat, black jacket, and gray scarf. The woman donned a long black jacket, black jeans, and a white shirt.

Anyone with information on the identity of the two suspects has been asked to call Officer Lawrence Hardy at 215-750-3845.
