A Lower Bucks County book warehouse blaze that left a firefighter with injuries has been ruled an arson.

Bensalem Township police announced the cause of the Saturday morning fire at the book warehouse in the 1300 block of Bridgewater Road in Bensalem Township, less than a mile from the border with Bristol Township, was intentionally set.
The ruling on the cause came after an investigation by Bensalem Township police, Bensalem Township Fire Marshal Robert Sponheimer, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF).
The two-alarm blaze brought firefighters from around the lower end of the county to the scene.

Firefighters were initially dispatched for waterflow alarm, but the call was quickly upgraded when crews found flames at the warehouse.
Nottingham Fire Company Firefighter Nick Altomare, who additionally worked at Bensalem Fire Rescue, was hurt when he fell 25-feet off a ladder being used to access the building.

Altomare suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but he was in the hospital for two days before being welcomed home Monday evening.
