A coastal storm is expected to bring chances of ice, snow, and rain over the next two days.

Around daybreak Thursday morning, a light wintry mix of ice and snow is predicted to start to fall along the I-95 corridor. By late Thursday morning, rain is predicted to start falling, continuing into Friday. In Lower Bucks County, the early freezing temperatures could result in a thin layer of ice.

The National Weather Service’s Mt. Holly, New Jersey regional office warns that there remains some uncertainty in the forecast.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service warn ice could potentially impact the Thursday morning commute.

While the wintry mix could cause some morning travel worries, no significant accumulation is expected locally. However, the Poconos could see measurable snowfall from the storm.

Lower Bucks County is expected to see 1.5 to 2 inches of rain from the storm, which could lead to localized flooding, forecasters said.

Forecasters are also predicting that it will be breezy Thursday into Friday, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Bucks County has been placed in a Winter Weather Advisory in advance of the storm.
