If you’re going to be on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bensalem and Bristol townships Thursday night and early Friday morning, officials are warning drivers to expect delays and stoppages.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission announced the removal of aerial utility line crossings over the highway in Bristol Township between 11 p.m. Thursday and 2 a.m. Friday.
The stoppages and slowdowns will be put in place by Turnpike maintenance trucks and Pennsylvania State Police vehicles. The impacts will mostly be felt between the Bensalem Interchange and the I-95 Connector in Bristol Township.
At times the Turnpike will move at speeds of 20 to 25 MPH, officials said.

“The stoppages are necessary for the protection of motorists and workers,” Turnpike officials said.
