Staff and volunteers from Parx Casino, the senior center, and nonprofit Caring For Friends lined up and placed Thanksgiving meal kits with all the fixings inside senior’s cars as they pulled up.

Over the past week, Parx staff, including executives, prepared the meals through Caring For Friends. The meal packs also included a week worth of meals and soups.

The Bensalem Township casino donated the meals and a $20,000 check to Caring for Friends to assist with their work in Bucks County and the region.

“The senior centers like Bristol Township enable us to reach people who are unable and alone and give them a little thanksgiving,” said Caring For Friends CEO Vincent Schiavone.

Ron Davis, the director of diversity and community development at Parx, said: “The Parx team is just proud to present this check.”
