No Injuries In Two Bristol Twp. Fires

Bristol Township firefighters responded to two blazes between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

On Saturday shortly before 7 p.m., firefighters were called to the unit block of Catalpa Lane for a report of a blaze.

The residents arrived home to find smoke the residence and a small fire was discovered, Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said.

The blaze was found to be caused by a heat lamp in the home, the fire marshal said.

No injuries were reported.

The Fairless Hills, Edgely, Levittown No. 1, and Levittown No. 2 fire companies responded.

On Sunday just before 3:15 a.m., fire crews were called to the 2200 block of Fleetwing Drive between Mustang and Liberator streets for a report of a blaze.

Edgely Fire Company Chief Brian Cirard said crews arrived to find flames and placed the fire under control just before 3:30 a.m.

Dippolito said the fire was in the attic and determined to be caused by wiring.

The residents were home and the smoke alarm alerted them, the fire marshal said.

No injuries were reported.
