PennDOT announced construction projects will be taking place in the Levittown area over the coming weeks.

The work in the Levittown area has to do with the installation of accessible curb ramps, according to the state transportation department.
Below are the locations of the work and the impacts:
• Monday, October 31 though Wednesday, November 30 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., periodic lane closures are scheduled on Lincoln Highway at the Glen Avenue Intersection in Penndel Borough for ADA curb installation;

• Monday, October 31 though Wednesday, November 30 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., periodic lane closures are scheduled on Hulmeville Road at Bellevue Avenue in Hulmeville Borough for ADA curb installation;

• Monday, October 31 though Wednesday, November 30 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., periodic lane closures are scheduled on Lincoln Highway at the Buckstown Road Intersection in Middletown Township for ADA curb installation.

Drivers have been advised allow for extra time when traveling through work areas due to possible slowdown, PennDOT said.
The work schedule is weather dependent.
