UPDATE: Durham Road Raid Leads To Arrest, Recovery Of Drugs, Guns & Stolen Vehicles, Authorities Say
Around sunrise Thursday, tactical officers with rifles and in armored vehicles followed by a cavalcade of marked and unmarked police vehicles descended upon a home along Durham Road in Middletown Township.
The police activity was part of an ongoing investigation by the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office. Middletown Township police and the South Central Emergency Response team assisted special agents and the statewide agency’s Special Operations Group.

As of publication, details on the investigation at the home in the 2300 block of Durham Road near the intersection of New Falls Road were slim, but an official confirmed a search warrant was being executed. Law enforcement activity at the home remained active as of 9:30 a.m.

A spokesperson for Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s office didn’t immediately have details to release.
A LevittownNow.com reader said they witnessed officers and special agents preparing to hit the house early in the morning.

Unmarked police vehicles were parked along Durham Road, as marked Middletown Township police vehicles sat at the nearby Giant Food Store gas station.
Cars slowed to gawk at the unusual activity and two nearby residents scoped up the scene as they walked past on the brisk late-summer morning.

The home where the law enforcement activity was taking place was sold to a new owner in March 2022, according to county records.
The attorney general in Pennsylvania is the state’s chief law enforcement official. The office is tasked with investigating drug trafficking, child predators, organized crime, public corruption, insurance fraud, and other criminal violations, but their role is different than the Pennsylvania State Police.
