A busy entryway to Bristol Borough will closed during the day for several months starting in September.

PennDOT officials said Aqua Pennsylvania will close Bath Street between Route 13 and Old Route 13 starting Monday, September 12 through Friday, April 14, 2023. The closure will be in effect Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A sign posted on Bath Street said the road will also be closed Tuesday, September 6.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Old Route 13, Otter Street (Route 413), and Route 13.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone on Bath Street.
“Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur,” PennDOT officials said.

All work will be weather dependent.
Aqua Pennsylvania will be closing Bath Street as part of ongoing infrastructure work. The work recently was underway on Otter Street.
On Friday, crews were spotted along Bath Street setting equipment in place and installing an equipment staging area to prepare for the project.
