

A driver was arrested last Thursday night after their vehicle became lodged on the train tracks in Middletown Township.

The incident involving a Dodge Charger forced an extended suspension of train traffic while crews worked to clear the scene near the Langhorne Train Station, police said.

No injuries were reported.
Officers from the Middletown Township Police Department and nearby boroughs responded to the tracks around 9 p.m.

The driver was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, Chief of Police Joseph Bartorilla said.

Police found the Charger stuck on the tracks, which carry SEPTA’s West Trenton Line and freight trains.

A tow crew was called to the scene to remove the vehicle from the tracks.
