Middletown Township’s 2022 road milling and repaving project will be getting underway next week.

Contractor JD Morrissey Inc. will begun repaving the parking lot and walking path at Twin Oaks Park on Monday.
The next work will be done when the parking lot and pickleball courts at Middletown Community Park. The milling and repaving will get started on Monday, September 5.
The more intensive part of the paving program will begin on Monday, September 19 when the contractor will begin milling and then repaving a number of streets.

Below is the list of streets the contract will repaved:
- Doublewoods Road, from Fulling Mill Road to dead end;
- Knoll Avenue, entire length;
- Shaw Avenue, entire length;
- Fairhill Avenue, from Old Lincoln Highway to dead end;
- Grand Avenue, entire length;
- South Hazel Avenue, entire length;
- Hill Street, entire length;
- Orchard Avenue, entire length;
- Walnut Street/Bristol Avenue, from parking lot on PFC John Delola Ave to municipal line;
- Dogwood Street, entire length;
- Turtle Lane, entire length;
- Deer Drive, entire length;
- East Ravine Avenue, entire length.
- Eagle Lane, entire length;
- Pheasant Drive, entire length;
- Granite Avenue, entire length; and
- Forget Me Not Lane, entire length.
The milling and repaving is expected to be completed in the fall.

Township officials warned the schedule is tentative and is subject to change.
“Please follow posted signage as crews perform work,” officials said.
Earlier this year, the Middletown Township Board of Supervisors approved a $1.76 million contract with JD Morrissey Inc. to carry out the repaving.

This year marks the 10th year of Middletown Township’s 14-year plan to repave more than 100 miles of township-owned roads.
