
A Bristol Borough man who was not to possess a firearm has been arrested on accusations he had a gun, according to authorities.

Last Wednesday around 7:15 p.m., Falls Township police officers were dispatched to a chemical company on Newbold Road for a report of an armed subject, court papers stated.
Officers arrived and met with a man who said he was in the locker room of the business when Craig F. Shuler, 41, of Bristol Borough, threatened to “f**k him up.” Shuler then pulled a gun out of his locker and held it at the side of his leg, police said.
Officers made contact with Shuler outside of the business in the parking lot, police said.

A black Glock 22 handgun with an extended magazine was spotted on the passenger-side seat was in plain view of the vehicle Shuler is known to drive to the business, police said.
Shuler declined to provide his identification to investigators and was detained, police said.

Investigators identified Shuler and discovered he had entered a no contest to a felony charge and another case where he pleaded no contest on charges of robbery, which bars him from possessing a firearm, police said.
