The township’s police department will host coffee and conversations between officers and community members Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McDonald’s at 3120 Veterans Highway.
“The mission of Coffee With A Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and citizens they serve by removing agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to know the officers in your neighborhood,” an announcement of the event states.
The police department has hosted Coffee With A Cop events in the past and is bringing them back.

The Coffee With A Cop organization said similar events are hosted across the U.S., Canada, and other nations. In six years, more than 15,000 events have taken place.
