A massive flag memorial dedicated to tens of thousands of Americans who lost their lives in war has returned.
A display of 70,000 flags – one for every American soldier killed in the Vietnam War and the conflicts in the Middle East – was set up by volunteers at Falls Township Community Park on Friday.

The annual Jesse Hill Flag Memorial by Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans opened Friday and runs through Sunday afternoon.
There will be a free concert and day of reflection on Saturday starting at noon.
Sunday will include a motorcycle rally at noon. The ride starts at the Bucks County Library’s Levittown branch off New Falls Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section and there will be a following service at the memorial.

Volunteers will be needed to help pull the flags out of the ground Sunday afternoon.
