A light breeze, comfortable temperatures, and sunny skies made Pennsbury High School’s 2022 commencement even more enjoyable for the 741 graduates and their families.
The 74th annual graduation ceremony Thursday evening at Falcon Field in Falls Township celebrated the students’ accomplishments and their post-high school plans, including college, the workforce, and armed forces.

The class of 2022 earned close to $5.2 million in scholarships.
“Today is the day that we graduate high school. Maybe reading Shakespeare was a complete waste of time. Maybe we are really never going to need to know that again. But this school has given us an environment to grow not only as students but as people. How can you hate something like that? So thank you Pennsbury and congratulations to the class of ‘22. I wish you both the very best,” student speaker Adi Gaba told his peers.
Student speaker Krishna Thacker reminded graduates that they were on that field thanks to many people helping them throughout the years.

“Great things are in store for each and every one of us. All we have to do is put in the work and believe that we can achieve. Most importantly, in our hearts, we must carry hope for the future,” student speaker Krishna Thacker said.
“Seniors, with one foot on the gas pedal, anxiously waiting to ride down 741 different roads, we now have the green light. So, buckle up, world! We’re just getting started!”
