Solar panels on the roof of a home burned Wednesday.

The fire happened at a residence on Island Road in Bristol Township’s Levittown section at 9:26 a.m.

Crews arrived to find a fire on the roof involving a set of solar panels, officials said.

Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito said the blaze extended to a small portion of the attic beneath the solar panels.
