A New Jersey man was found inside a Falls Township house where the resident said he didn’t belong, according to police.

Curtis Randall, 38, of Newark, New Jersey, was preliminarily arraigned by on-call District Judge Stacy Wertman Monday morning on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, criminal mischief, and theft.
Falls Township officers were dispatched just after 11:30 p.m. Sunday to the 200 block Tyburn Road for a report of a burglary in progress, according to court papers.
The caller reported a man unknown to her entered her residence. She locked herself in a bedroom as she feared for her safety, police said.

Arriving officers found the door to the home appeared to be forced in, police said.
Randall was found inside the home, police said.

Investigators said there was damage to the door that was forced in, flower pots in the home, and a carpet in the basement. The damage was estimated to be as much as $250.
Randall was found to be in possession of two knives that belonged to the resident, police said.
The resident was reported to be shaken up by the burglary, police said.

Randall’s bail was set at 10 percent of $50,000, but a bail bondsman used surety bonds to secure his release.
