A woman was injured after a “violent domestic dispute” in Bristol Township, according to police.

Around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 1700 block of Spencer Drive in the Croydon section of the township for a report of a dispute.
Officers arrived and found a woman with stab wounds, police said.
Police said their investigation revealed John Hargrove, 56, of the Croydon section, stabbed his ex-girlfriend with a meat fork at the home on Spencer Drive.

The woman reported Hargrove attempted to stab her in the chest. He stated multiple times he was going to kill her, she told police.
The woman sustained two defensive wounds to each of her arms, police said.

Hargrove was preliminarily arraigned Sunday morning before on-call District Judge Lisa Gaier on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment, and possession of an instrument of crime. He was sent to county lockup on 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
