The state transportation agency announced there will be northbound and southbound lane closures on Route 1 between the Oxford Valley Road and Fairless Hills interchanges Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The closures will be for traffic counter installation, as part of a PennDOT project to update traffic monitoring sites statewide, officials said.
The statewide project will cost $760,640. The work is being carried out by Kuharchik Construction Inc., of Luzerne County. Federal funds are paying for the work.
