Per Pennsylvania Department of Health data, there were 236 new COVID-19 infections reported across Bucks County last week, a slight increase from the week before but significantly below levels from earlier this year. It is notable that the number of new infections is likely an under count as many at-home positive tests aren’t recorded in the official data.

Bucks County’s COVID-19 test positivity rate slightly rose from 2.5 percent the week prior to 2.7 percent last week. A test positivity rate higher than 5 percent means health experts consider the spread of COVID-19 uncontrolled.

Hospitalizations remained low in the county. There were nine patients in Bucks County hospitals with COVID-19 and one patient in intensive care, while another was on a ventilator.
