LevittownNow.com readers reported seeing numerous police officers and detectives along a busy highway in Falls Township.

The activity on Tuesday morning happened in Falls Township along Route 13 between Route 1 and Tullytown Borough. Police appeared to be searching on the sides of the highway and had what appeared to be a metal detector, readers said.
Falls Township police Chief Nelson Whitney said his agency’s detectives assisted the district attorney’s office with a search for evidence.
Bucks County Detectives were searching for evidence related to a May 2021 case, said Manuel Gamiz, the communications director for the district attorney’s office.
