Pennsylvania State Police said a vehicle fled from them earlier this week.

On Monday around 2:47 p.m., two troopers were on patrol on East Lincoln Highway in Penndel Borough when they spotted a dark-colored Mercedes-Benz sedan with its lights on stopped in the parking lot of a closed car dealership, state police said.
Troopers said they found it odd the vehicle was stopped at the closed dealership.
As troopers were near the dealership, the vehicle quickly left and continued driving after troopers activated their vehicles’ emergency lights, state police said.

Troopers said the sedan fled at a high rate of speed and there was precipitation.
Troopers terminated the pursuit in the area of Harris Avenue in Middletown Township, state police said.

State police wrote in a statement that they returned to the dealership and found no evidence of a crime.
